Which computer software does the company use?
We use AutoCAD LT 2006 for our drafting. All
files are saved in AutoCAD 2000 format to maximise compatability
with other offices.
Drawings which are electronically issued are
formatted in PDF format. We use Adobe Version 6.
Hydraulic Models are prepared by Hyena hydraulic
computation software and in house software.
Can
we prepare the "As Built" or "As Constructed" for contractors?
We will generally not prepare "As Built" or "As
Constructed" drawings for contractors on the projects where we have
acted as the engineer. We believe it could be a conflict of
interests.
Can we convert drawing file
from Micro-Station CAD...?
No, we are unable to convert the electronic
drawing files and require the author to convert them to AutoCAD
format from the Micro station software
Do we have experience in Web based Project
Management systems ... ?
Yes, Alexander & Associates personnel have extensive experience
with Web based Project Management systems.
